Erica & Tommy :: DC Engagement Session

I had an awesome time with Erica and Tommy during their engagement session. We hit some of DC’s most visually interesting locations, including Meridian Hill Park and the National Gallery of Art. Stay tuned for their wedding images from Baltimore’s American Visionary Art Museum in a few weeks!

Maternity Portraits for K

I recently had the pleasure of shooting maternity portraits for Kendrah and Karlis. I loved the dramatic window light in their home. Congratulations you two and best of luck with the new addition!

Maggie & Adam :: A Reception at the National Museum of Women in the Arts

Maggie and Adam have been very patient while waiting for these images, so I’ll keep my words short. They planned an exquisitely elegant wedding at some of DC’s most beautiful wedding venues: getting ready at the Sofitel, ceremony at St. Matthew’s Cathedral, and reception at the gorgeous National Museum of Women in the Arts. (Combined, this is also known as photographer heaven.)

Adam and his family traveled from Britain for the wedding, and then Maggie and Adam moved to Japan immediately after the wedding, so I’m sure everything felt like a whirlwind. Hopefully these images will help relive an amazing day!

I love that they used famous couples as their table names (including their own for the head table)! I’m a huge fan of creative table identifiers.

Those Obamas… so thoughtful.

Adam’s brothers delivered without a doubt the funniest toast (actually, it was more like a roast) that I’ve ever heard. I had to stop shooting a few times because I was laughing so hard.

You had to be there, but it was hilarious…

Poor Adam. There was a lot of this going on…

Millennium never fails to deliver!

The headless singer?
Ice cream was a wonderful treat…
